It has approval of Marina Mercante as service station for fire fighting equipment for boats, naval devices and port facilities in accordance to NOM-SCT4-019-2009, and as a service station for auto inflatable liferafts according to Self-NOM SCT4-014-1994, for inspection, maintenance and certification of the brands authorized by the following manufacturers: viking life-saving equipment inc. (america), dsb deutsche schlauchboot gmbh & co kg, fujikura rubber ltd., mitsubishi, dbc marine safety systems, zodiac. We are approved as reliable suppliers by the rating houses American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Det Norske Veritas Mexico s.a. de c.v. (DNV.GL), Lloyds Register of Shipping (LR), as well as the U.S. Coast Guard for vessels under the American flag (USCG).

We have a technical staff trained, by the manufacturers in each of the specialty services and certified to perform the functions of inspection, maintenance and certification to life rafts and fire safety equipment, which allows us to maintain our labor updated according to the requirements of manufacturers.

In Mexico we are exclusive representatives of Wilhelmsen Ships Service Inc., which is why we are able to provide service to ships from around the world, guaranteeing both parties a high quality service. Likewise, we have permission for the distribution and marketing of our affiliated companies products.

The marketing of our products includes the sale of pyrotechnic devices as exclusive distributors of Painswessex and Comet, whose products are recognized and approved by Marine Equipment Directive (MED), IMO Resolutions, SOLAS 74, LSA code, Lloyds, USCG.

SMS has permission from the Ministry of National Defense (SEDENA) to transport, purchase, stock and sell these products, as well as its specialized transport issued by the Ministry of Communications and Transport (SCT).
